Job Summary:

We’re searching for a passionate and people-focused HR Director to lead our team at JA The Resort. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive and implement a comprehensive people, culture strategy that supports the mission, values and HR/business goals.
• Lead and administer all HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits and enforce company policies and practices.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding to bring in the best hospitality talent.
• Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
• Develop internal communications strategies to ensure effective communication to all parts of the business to drive an empowered workforce culture.
• Develop strategies to create an inclusive workplace that values and respects individual differences and experiences.
• Provide expert professional advice to senior management in all areas of HR, including payroll, learning and development, employment law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
• Develop effective employment policies in consultation with senior managers and executives.
• Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR associates, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure professional standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and policies to ensure compliance.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior leadership role
• Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
