Job Summary:

Provide general security assistance while greeting guests, visitors and staff, maintain a post or security check point and deal directly with the public in ascertaining their business, providing directions and a security presence in the assigned duty post and the property as whole.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle assigned duty post and ensure adherence to laid down rules and regulations.
• Attend to staff, guests, visitors and contractors enquiries.
• Undertake patrol of the assigned area to ensure that everything is in order.
• Undertake escort duty for staff, guests, visitors and contractors.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Assist the patrolling Officers in implementing JA Resorts & Hotels policies and procedures in the conduct of safety and security inspections.
• Provide advice for staff, guests, visitors and contractors on security and safety issues in the assigned duty post.
• Monitor and patrol assigned duty post to ensure safety and access in accordance with laid down rules and procedure.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of staff, visitors/contractors, delivery vehicles, movement of equipment in and out of the property and other persons to guide against theft.
• Report any act of suspicion to the security office.
