Job Summary:

Directly supervise and coordinate activities of associates engaged in landscaping or groundskeeping activities. Answering inquiries from potential customers regarding methods, materials and machine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle assigned duty post and ensure adherence to laid down rules and regulations.
• Provide associates with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
• Recommend changes in working conditions or equipment use to increase crew efficiency.
• Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate work activities with those of other departments.
• Direct activities of team members who perform duties, such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs.
• Routine inspection of the premises. Follow-up routine activity of the garden department. Make a list of materials required and report to the line manager.
• Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery, like mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers
• Monitor and maintain the health of plants
• A reliever during the passionate grooms (animal caretaker) rest day, leave or out of duty by feeding animals, and cleaning their enclosures.
