Group Brand Marketing Manager
Job Specification:
The Group Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing brand communications, and overseeing digital and social channels, including the website, to ensure alignment with the brand identity, vision, and overall business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing:
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Supports the shaping and communication of the brand vision, mission, and positioning across marketing channels.
- Ensures all brand advertising on online and offline channels reflects the brand’s voice.
- Conducts market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and customer preferences.
- Oversees the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, digital ads, and promotional materials.
- Assists in measuring and reporting on brand performance and customer insights to inform future marketing initiatives.
- Manages photography and visual asset coordination with Property Marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand voice and standards.
- Drives brand awareness and positioning in alignment with JA Resorts & Hotels' updated tone of voice and business objectives.
- Ensures consistency across all communication touchpoints, including social media, PR, digital content, and offline activations.
- Support the rollout of marketing campaigns that strengthen JA Resorts & Hotels' brand perception and guest engagement.
Social Media:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms to enhance brand engagement and audience growth.
- Oversees content planning, ensuring storytelling aligns with brand values and focuses on experiential travel, true hospitality, and key property USPs.
- Leads the social media content calendar and collaborates with agencies, photographers, and influencers for high-quality visual content.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise social media performance using insights and data-driven decisions.
- Stays ahead of digital and social trends to ensure JA Resorts & Hotels remains competitive in the hospitality space.
Website Management:
- Collaborates with creative and content teams to ensure the website reflects the brand’s identity, vision, and messaging, through cohesive copy and visuals.
- Coordinates the development and refresh of website content (copy, images, and multimedia) to maintain brand consistency and engage visitors with a compelling narrative.
- Ensures all website elements, including copy and visuals, are in line with the brand’s overall strategy and positioning, enhancing user experience and emotional connection with the brand.
- Works with in-house designer and e-commerce resource to update the website’s layout and design, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and enhances visual storytelling.
- Monitors brand representation on the website, ensuring all content is regularly reviewed and optimized to reflect the latest campaigns, brand tone, and product offerings.
- Ensures compliance with brand guidelines in all website content and works with external agencies to maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand marketing and communications.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and website management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in marketing tools such as CMS, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing and communications, with a proven track record of managing brand campaigns and content development across digital platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (agencies, designers, copywriters, web developers) to ensure brand consistency across all digital and offline touchpoints.
- Strong background in content management and creative development, with a focus on brand messaging, copywriting, and visual storytelling.
- Proven experience in developing and executing brand strategies that enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and brand awareness.
- Familiarity with working with external agencies and creative teams to produce marketing collateral, campaign assets, and digital content that align with brand guidelines.
- Understanding of SEO and user experience principles, collaborating with digital marketing teams for performance-related tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple campaigns and website updates simultaneously.
