At JA Ocean View Hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences. We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented Bellman to join our Front Office team and support our guests from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with luggage delivery, and support departures.
• Print and review daily arrival, departure, and in-house guest reports.
• Coordinate luggage handling with Doormen and Valet teams.
• Assist during emergencies and follow all fire and safety procedures.
• Support shuttle bus boarding, ensuring correct headcounts and arranging additional transportation when needed.
• Maintain accurate Bellboy Movement records and ensure all concierge forms are completed correctly.
• Prepare hotel vehicles (water setup) for airport pick-ups, drop-offs, and transfers.
• Keep luggage trolleys, caddies, and luggage rooms clean and in good condition, ensuring regular checks.
• Assist with room moves and confirm all luggage has been safely loaded for transport.
• Provide guests with directions, travel information, and details about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Report unexpected VIP arrivals, external food deliveries, suspicious activity, or unattended items to the Duty/Night Manager.
• Handle all lost and found items in line with company SOPs.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a hotel of comparable rating.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Strong customer service orientation, professional grooming, and a positive attitude.
