Shooting Instructor

Every great first shot starts with a great instructor.

As we prepare to launch the new JA Sports & Shooting Club Center, we are looking for passionate and safety-focused Shooting Instructors who can turn a guest's first visit into an experience they'll never forget.

This role is about more than teaching technique. It's about creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment where guests feel comfortable, supported, and confident every step of the way.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a Shooting Instructor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and guest satisfaction across our ranges.

You'll be responsible for:

Delivering safe and engaging shooting experiences for guests of all skill levels

Conducting firearm safety briefings and shooting lessons for first-time and inexperienced shooters

Ensuring compliance with Club procedures, range safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Providing professional guidance and support throughout the guest journey

Issuing firearms and ammunition to assigned ranges and guests

Monitoring shooting activities and maintaining a safe range environment

Supporting the operation and maintenance of target systems, clay throwers, firearms, and archery equipment

Assisting with daily range setup, cleanliness, and operational readiness

Maintaining accurate ammunition consumption records

Creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality and exceptional service

What You'll Bring

✔ High School Certificate or equivalent

✔ Vocational Diploma or Certification

✔ Certification from an accredited shooting organization, military, or law enforcement agency

OR

✔ Recognized shooting club training and experience supported by training records

✔ Minimum 2 years' experience as a Shooting Club Assistant or

✔ Minimum 3 years' experience within a commercial, military, or law enforcement shooting environment

✔ Strong knowledge of firearms, range operations, and safety procedures

✔ Basic Microsoft Office skills

✔ Good English communication skills, both written and verbal

✔ A professional, safety-focused, and guest-oriented approach
